This session introduces a real-world case of generative AI implementation in quality assurance operations at the Omika Works.
Through this example, we'll explore how tacit knowledge--such as the intuition, expertise, and experience of veteran engineers--was effectively transferred to generative AI and leveraged to drive operational improvements.
The presentation will highlight significant gains in efficiency, including reduced time for troubleshooting and report creation.
Led by the on-site project leader and a data scientist, the session will offer candid insights into the background, implementation strategies, team reactions, and tangible outcomes.

Mr.YOSHITAKE TAKAKU Senior Director Quality Assurance Division of Infrastructure Control Systems ◆ Profile ◆ Joined Hitachi, Ltd. in 1994. After joining the company, consistently worked in quality assurance for train operation management systems until 2017. Currently serves as the Senior Director of Quality Assurance for Control Systems, overseeing quality assurance for social infrastructure systems such as train operation management systems and electric power monitoring and control systems. Recently, has been actively engaged in upstream process quality improvement activities within Control Systems, focusing not only on product quality but also on ensuring process quality.
